Allen: He was a big, powerful Negro!

Trust a Republican to take a perfectly lovely feel-good story about a state legislator offering to suck off an undercover cop and turn it into something ugly.

Bob Allen (R-Gay) originally told the media that his arrest for offering to fellate what turned out to be an undercover police officer and pay the officer $20 was the result of a “huge mistake.” At the police station, though, he told a substantially different tale. Seems Rep. Allen was “intimidated” because the cop was a BIG BLACK BUCK. Allen  was only playing along to avoid becoming “a statistic”:

“This was a pretty stocky black guy, and there was nothing but other black guys around in the park,” Allen, who is white, told police in a taped statement after his arrest. Allen said he feared he “was about to be a statistic” and would have said anything just to get away.

He didn’t actually try to get away, mind you, but that was his intent. Apparently he was equally intimidated by all those other BIG BLACK BUCKS in the park. Had Allen tried to escape, one of those BIG BLACK BUCKS would have chased him down — because they’re all such superb athletes, don’tcha know — and then all the BIG BLACK BUCKS would have statisticized him up the ass repeatedly, because that’s what BIG BLACK BUCKS do.

We didn’t actually need any additional ammo to shoot down conservative contentions that racism isn’t really an issue in this country anymore, but now we have it anyway.

Look, there’s always going to be a few racists. But as long as it’s confined to powerful elected representatives, I don’t see the point in getting all moonbat about it.
