Craig Resignation Back On. Maybe.

A spokesmodel for Sen. Larry Craig (R-Toilet Cruiser) now says that his boss will “most likely” resign as scheduled. Or “as early as October 1.” Or by some other day in October. Or something.

The only circumstances in which Craig might try to complete his term, [spokesmodel] Whiting said, would require a prompt overturning of his conviction for disorderly conduct in a men’s room at the Minneapolis airport, as well as Senate GOP leaders’ agreement to restore the committee leaderships positions they took from him this week.

Good luck with that shit, Larry.

(It should be noted for the record that I refrained from making a tasteless smartass comment about keeping the door open.)
